The Midway opened its doors on May 29th to two thousand guests excited to see this new Creative Complex in SF’s burgeoning Dogpatch neighborhood. Guests enjoyed a sneak peek into the music and performing arts space, 3D audio workshop, teaching kitchen and screening room and 9-studio artist in residency program. On July 9th we invite you back to celebrate a more intimate gathering focused on the exhibition Oddities.
Please come enjoy a specialty cocktail, some conversation and a lot of wonderful artwork.
We are pleased to present a special collection of artwork at The Midway for their grand opening exhibition. Works by Henry Lewis, Ransom & Mitchell, Lango Oliveira and Nicomi Nix Turner are displayed alongside works by many artists from around the country including Liz McGrath and outdoor murals by John Casey and Mike Shine. It is our honor to present five of Ransom & Mitchell's framed Rough & Ready Sideshow prints, three paintings with a fresh, exotic style by Henry Lewis, three gorgeous graphite drawings by Nicomi Nix Turner and watercolors on paper by Lango Oliveira.
